Drupal is a free and open-source content management framework written in PHP. It is estimated more than 1 in 50 Web sites worldwide use Drupal as their content management framework, Drupal is very extendable, with an estimated 23,000 third-party modules that may be used to augment its functionality. There are also an estimated 30,000 Drupal developers worldwide.

Drupal version 7.x provides the standard user interface and front-end to the Open Semantic Framework (upgraded from Drupal 6 in prior versions).
